She is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Special Education.

 

She taught 35 years in Derry Township School District in 5th grade, 2nd grade, 1st grade, and most recently in kindergarten.

 

Mrs. Shrift is married and has 2 children.

 

She enjoys cooking, baking, reading, walking and practicing her newest "retirement" hobbies, guitar and fly fishing.
